Great Falls – The first land grant in Great Falls, dated Feb. 2, 1709, to Daniel McCarty, was 2,993 acres, then in Stafford County. Today that land lies in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. The Fairfax County portion is bounded on the west side by the Loudoun County line.

Great Falls Volunteer Fire Department – The Great Falls Volunteer Fire Department is to aid in the preservation of life and property. Completed in cooperation with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.  Throughout the year, volunteers participate and contribute to a myriad of functions related to the public safety of the citizens of the Great Falls community.

Glenstone Museum – Guided by the personal vision of its founders, Glenstone assembles post-World War II artworks of the highest quality that trace the greatest historical shifts in the way we experience and understand art of the 20th and 21st centuries. These works are presented in a series of refined indoor and outdoor spaces designed to facilitate meaningful encounters for our visitors.

Great Falls Lions Club – The Great Falls Lions Club has been chartered since 1958. Throughout the years the Club has provided many services to the Great Fall community. The Club makes donations each year to local charities such as the Lift Me Up Program and also scholarships to local students. In addition, they make many donations to Lions funded programs for the sight and hearing impaired.
